Today, during this devastating health crisis the Farmington Food Pantry is doing what it can to stay open and provide food assistance to over 225 Farmington and Unionville families and that number continues to grow. Many changes in pantry operations have been made in order to continue to serve the community. The Pantry has temporarily implemented a "drive thru" format providing prepackaged “emergency food bags” to eligible residents. This allows us to safely provide supplemental food and protect both the shoppers and volunteers at the same time. We are grateful to our dedicated group of volunteers. They continue to dedicate their time and efforts to help our community and take all the necessary precautions to keep themselves and residents safe.
