FHS Boys Basketball- "Hoops For Hunger" Initiative

Writer: foodpantryctfoodpantryct

The Farmington High School boys basketball program will support the Food Pantry with a “Hoops for Hunger” initiative. Their goal is to help raise awareness and collect food and money donations for those Farmington residents in need. “Hoops for Hunger” was introduced at their annual Tee It Up for the Tribe golf tournament through a 50/50 raffle. The winner, FHS faculty member Dean Edwards, graciously donated his portion back. $370 was donated to the Food Pantry. The next “Hoops for Hunger” event is Sunday, October 20th 11:30-3:00 Unionville Museum & Suburban Park. Stop by for museum exhibits, trolley rides, carousel, food trucks and more! Non-perishable food and personal care donations will be collected.
